Quick record button#1327

Hi there,

It would be useful to have a way to quickly record an attack with a single tap, so that you can fill in the detail later. When I have an aura/migraine the last thing I want to do is have to fill in or skip multiple screens. Alternatively a skip all button could achieve a similar effect.

Thanks,

Adriaan

Thank you Adriaan, when having an attack, you can record the start time of the attack and use the arrow button at the top left of the screen to leave the app. You can then come back later and fill in the remaining screen.
Is this what you were looking for or were you thinking of another way to address it?

I have the same. I didn’t know about the arrow but think it would be useful to have a big one touch button to log a migraine and then be able to leave the phone alone. Maybe it can remind me every 6 hours to then go back and log symptoms etc.? I sometimes forget because I keep clear of screens during an attack.

we used to have a long press option on the app icon, we had technical issues with it so had to remove it. We are working on fixing this and release a new way to quickly start an attack.

That would be great 👍
I wouldn’t mind a separate icon just for this that I could add to my home screen.
That would mean even with a really bad attack I could just press to record and leave, or even get a family member to do on my behalf if I can’t bear to look! 😁

I know a couple of other migraine sufferers who I recommended this app to (which is terrific btw) who indicated that this feature would be handy for them as well.

I fill out what I can until my pain takes over. Then, after my migraine chills out enough or comes to an end, I go back into my NOTES and enter everything I can remember(see attached example). But being able to hit an “Attack Start” button and have it pop up with 6-8 big buttons that can record the important data would be game changing. For example, having fixed or even customizable buttons pop up and stay open until the attack ends or I close it. And they each do a time stamp when pressed and each button can record the important, stuff that can be easily forgotten during a longer episode of sever/heightened pain. Buttons that record the/each time I take meds, the pain increased/decreased, so on and so forth.
