In chronic conditions, it’s common to have a continuous baseline pain (like a 24/7 continuous headache) with acute migraine attacks layered on top. Users should be allowed to log two overlapping active attacks simultaneously, provided they are not labeled as the same exact type of pain. Requiring separate classifications (e.g., separating a baseline continuous headache from an acute migraine) with independent intensity, location, and symptom tracking would help us accurately capture overlapping headache disorders without overwriting data.
