Time picker - It is too difficult to use - Improve it#31

I always pick the wrong time.
Can you come back to the previous “clocl-like” picker? or something using a keyboard?

Absolutely agree with this, the new one is fiddly to scroll so I end up just putting a random time

I asked them this same question when they changed from the clock gave to the scroll. I do not like the current way either, at all

Same, I asked them the same thing via email when they first changed it. Its so fiddly and annoying, when all you need is simplicity!

Thanks for the suggestions @Adam McCaughan @Emrussellatc @Elliejudd
It’s very difficult to design something that would be helpful for all users, but we are trying!
Before releasing the lastest design we had user testing sessions with many of you in the community. We know this design is not yet very user friendly.. still working on it!
We keep all your valuable suggestions for the upcoming app improvements! Please keep posing in the thread below if you have other suggestions!
Wishing you a lovely, migraine-free day!

Hi Heather, I sometime use the app on an Android emulator, Memu. This way I can record information using my computer keyboard

I’d really like to have both start and end time in the same screen, so you don’t have to tap on start and end separately.

I’m fine with the current setup with buttons for “just now” and so on, though the scrolling through time is annoying - maybe at least with 5 minutes interval? I don’t think 5:47 makes a big difference from 5:45.

But what I would like to see is something like
Start time - time chooser (“not today” or “change date”)
“Just now” “hour ago” …

End time - time chooser (“not today”)
“Just now” …

or just a grayed out link to “enter times” with a screen start-end. Because I don’t always record them right away, especially when I’m having a bad one, and then I set the start, change the date, get a warning that it overlaps with a later attack, click on end, change the date again…
And then if I am recording it right away, Idont care and click the easy buttons, OR if I am able to, I can click the link and enter the times with a “still going” toggle, on one screen.

Thank you for your amazing work :)

Time related information could be incredibly simplified, we only need hours, maybe 30m resolution.
Medically, it only matters the duration and time to relief.
