Add menstration dates to calendar view#644

I love that we can track period cycles now as a health event & easily while recording an attack. As it is, the information isn’t very helpful in the big picture. You have to dig into each recorded attack to see the cycle day the attack started in. It would be extremely helpful to those of us with periods and our providers to see our period days layed out on the calendar with our attacks like our sleep cycles are so we can analyze how our periods might trigger attacks so we can implement prevention interventions when we are more susceptible to an attack. Thank you!

The menstruation bit definitely does need a lot of work. I had what I presume to be a cycle related attack at the weekend and was thrilled to see the section about my cycle while filling out the migraine details but have since found since recording another attack today that it has added that it has occurred on “the 8th day of my cycle”. I’ve tried to set an end date but it still keeps saying it’s the 8th day and I can’t find a clear way to track what I am inputting for my cycle dates and no clear way to edit it. That and the comment above show this is definitely a step in the right direction but needs some work

Hello @Becca Mitton,
Go to your home screen, tap on the side menu (top left button), tap on “health events”, then tap on the “+” button (top right), and tap on “menstruation” button. You’ll be able to add/remove/edit all your periods over there.

If you need more assistance on that you can contact me at jenny@healint.com

Wishing you a lovely, migraine-free day!

It is so helpful to have the menstruation dates added. Is there a way to sync with other period tracker apps or apple health so we don’t have to input manually. I would love to be able to go back over my last year for instance.
And would be really helpful to see on the calendar, too.
Many thanks.

Hello @N.blech thanks for the suggestion!
We don’t have such integration with other apps currently, but we would love to!! The team is still a bit small for now, but we will consider adding such feature in the future!

Wishing you a lovely, migraine-free day!

I absolutely agree, it would also be nice for the app to understand that if I ended my period 2 days ago, my attack it’s clearly not related and select that I’m not on my period at the moment. It could also slightly predict the next one. Maybe not auto selecting that it’s about to start, but just asking a confirmation. Especially for women that have more regular period, would be nice. It would be great to link my period app, but I would be more than happy to just get these features at the moment.
