Preventative med log#853

I need to track when I take PREVENTATIVE meds (such as injectable Emgality every 30 days) irrespective of acute migraine attacks. Preventative meds are not rescue meds and are taken on a regular schedule. I want to be able to graph doses of preventative meds to see a potential correlation between those doses and later migraine attacks. Currently, I can only log meds within the record of an acute attack, hence my request for a separate entry for preventative meds that doesn’t involve an acute attack. Thanks for listening.

The same for daily preventative tablets, I’d love to tick to say I’d taken each dose, so I could auto track the impact of a missed dose (just like contraceptive pill trackers work)

The same for other preventatives (I take Allegra D for my sinuses, tracking if I took my daily dose vs forgot it, or that I put my earplugs in as a preventative prior to a barometric pressure change migraine and what time they went in/out without having to create a migraine lot would be amazing. I only wear them for migraine prevention, and they definitely interfere with my life, so logging that would be great.

there are 2 places to record preventive medication. The Health Events from the main menu (the information here will show on your doctor’s report) and the Migraine Impact Report Calendar, Tap on any day in the calendar to add your preventive medication intake

Actually, rather than recording every intake of preventative medications.
I did create items in the Triggers:

  • Missed Qlipta (if I missed my daily Qlipta in the days before)
  • Late Emgality (when my Emgality dose was after more than 28 days)

Of course, you may prefer recording everyday. But that’s just the way I like it.
