Apple Watch and Health app integration#575

C

I would love this to be integrated with Apple Watch so you could simply press a button when you are severely Ill with migraine to start tracking that migraine on your watch. It could just a simple head with sections for the Watch and you could just tape the area of where the migraine is to start tracking, or one big simple button on the Watch. This would be so helpful especially for days when migraines are so intense and moving for a phone intensifys the pain.

I would appreciate being able to connect to Apple health and my Apple Watch. I don’t often remember to go to the app when I have a headache or migraine so it would make tracking easier.

I would love for my migraine data to integrate with my health app & nutrition to further learn about certain correlations between what I eat, my activity & my migraines.

I would also love this integration since my watch already records so much data for my health app

Thanks @Ca.ritchie @Keila Eddy @Jessica.r.maguire @Tanewman2019 for your suggestions.
I will merge your request with a similar one and keep an update of the status over there.
Wishing you a lovely, migraine-free day!

Also medication tracking. Taking preventatives daily isn’t something that can be tracked on this app but is monitored on reports. I track it in health app, it would increase accuracy of reports.

Hi Helen, medication treatments recorded in the Health Event also show on the doctor’s listing report. How this is not accurate enough?
Please elaborate your thoughts

Hi Jenny,
If I were to show the reports to my doctor it looks as if I have only taken my meds on days where I have had an attack, he would say I am struggling because I am not taking my preventatives appropriately.
There is no facility to report medication outside of attacks that I can find.
And doctors will take anything on “paper” even if it is technically your phone over your word. Or they do for me.

nope, if you record your treatment in the Health event section then this information will show at the top of the listing report so that your doctor has the information. Give it a try

Jenny, you’re missing the point of Helen’s post. We have to go outside of the MigraineBuddy app to post preventive migraine treatments because this is a major area that MigraineBuddy ignores, preventative treatment.

What we’re looking for is having a section in MigraineBuddy that allows us to record preventative migraine treatment such as daily use of Nurtec or quarterly Botox treatments so the when we transmit our log to our neurologist or other migraine physician they have a complete record of everything we do about migraine instead of having to send information from multiple apps/sources. And we’d like that information to flow to the Health App so a full record of the medications we take is in one place.
