I’d like to be able to sync my Apple watch data with the app easily. Especially for the sleep related data.

I’d be over the moon to have this integrate into my Apple Watch and would be happy to pay extra for this
Would love to have Apple Watch app to log start of attack when phone isn’t nearby. And would love to see Sleep Watch app integration for sleep tracking instead of manual tracking stats between apps. Would be willing to use different sleep tracking app if it integrated into migraine buddy.

Can you please consider integration into iOS Health App for sleep, headache data?
Apps and services allowed to read data
Data sources

Migraine Buddy has its own sleep amd migraine/headache tracker. If you encounter any issue with them, please contact me directly at jenny@healint.com. Jenny
It does, but not as good as the Sleep tracker on iOS or Watch. I hate having to answer to “shall I guess the time you slept” if it is already available from a more intuitive data source.
I’m also asking for sharing of headache data into the Health app as per the previous message attachment.

Thank you for your suggestions, I will pass them on to the team

I think we’re all aware that Migraine Buddy has it’s own sleep and migraine tracker. The problem is that Migraine Buddy’s sleep tracker is horribly crude and inaccurate and requires a daily manual input which is cumbersome to make its data worthwhile to pass along to our physician. Frankly, I don’t even try to get my sleep data right anymore. Migraine Buddy makes entering migraines easy to do, but sleep data entry is a pain, no worse.
What you need to do is at the least, integrate the iPhone sleep tracker with Migraine Buddy so that Migraine Buddy picks up the iPhone sleep tracker for its sleep information. While the iPhone’s sleep tracker is far from perfect, it’s about a billion times better than Migraine Buddy’s tracker.
Better yet, integrate with an app like AutoSleep on the iPhone which is the most accurate sleep tracker anywhere.
The biggest problem, of course, with Migraine Buddy’s sleep tracker in Apple world is that it’s iPhone dependent because almost decade after the Apple Watch was introduced and with more than 350 million people wearing the Apple Watch today, Migraine Buddy ignores its existence as it has zero integration with perhaps the most comprehensive health tracking device in existence.
The big question is, why hasn’t Migraine Buddy fully integrated into the Apple Watch like so many great health apps have done?
Clearly not a priority - still waiting for any update from MB

What you really need is full Apple Watch integration. There should be a Migraine Buddy module sitting on the Apple Watch.
At the least the Apple Watch integration should include:
The ability to start/end a migraine log of a new migraine that would be stored in the iPhone app. It doesn’t have to have the ability to put in all the details, but to start and end the log as those times would be far more accurate and far more easy to get going and end with editing on the iPhone later to put in the details. I’m often starting migraine logs with the initial times hours after it gets going because it’s more than inconvenient to pull out the iPhone, navigate to the app and start entering data, particularly if I’m at work and more particularly if I’m in a meeting, but a quick input of start or end via the Apple Watch is unobtrusive and easy.
The ability to input preventive drugs and treatments into Migraine Buddy. Currently I put my migraine preventative drugs through another app and the same is true of my Botox treatments. That app is fully integrated in the Apple Watch so that as I take the drugs and get the treatments I just open the Watch app and click on the drugs and it puts in the time automatically and records the data on my iPhone with the main app that my Apple Watch app is the auxillary. That means I need to send the data from multiple apps to my neurologist every month instead of from just Migraine Buddy. Even though the people at Migraine Buddy understand the importance of prevention through medication and treatment, there is no way to track that in Migraine Buddy. Not only should Migraine Buddy track that information, but it should integrate with the Apple Watch so the data can be input easily via the watch.
It goes without saying that the sleep tracker in Migraine Buddy is crude and wholly unreliable. You have to manually correct it virtually every day if you want an accurate record. This is a major failure of Migraine Buddy and could be easily rectified with Apple Watch integration or at least integration with the iPhone sleep tracker or better yet apps like AutoSleep which far surpass the iPhone sleep tracker in accuracy and useful data.
It also goes without saying that Migraine Buddy should fully integrate with Apple Watch the way that the iPhone health app does and fully integrate with the health app.
Migraine Buddy is a terrific app that’s been improved greately since I first started with it, however, for some unknown reason you all at Migraine Buddy don’t seem to want to or don’t seem to be able to take the technology leap that so many other companies have to integrate with the top wearable health device in existence, the Apple Watch. Sooner than later someone else will come out with a migraine app that might not be quite as good as Migraine Buddy, but will be close and will integrate fully with the Apple Watch and the iPhone health app and migraine sufferers across the globe will change to it and never look back.
Please, please, get with it and create an Apple Watch auxilliary app connected with the Migraine Buddy iPhone app to accomplish the above and dramatically improve Migraine Buddy. Help us, chronic migraine sufferers across the globe help our physicians help us to reduce our often debilitating suffering.

@Pvdwalt, yes I think you’re right. I’ve been asking for this integration for years and mostly haven’t even gotten a reply. It’s a mistake on their part. If any company creates an app that compares fairly well, and integrates well with the iPhone and Apple Watch, that will be the app for me and I’ll bet countless others.

Please allow migraine buddy on Apple Watch….
being able to start or record symptoms would be easier
also getting readings from apple watch would provide more detailed accurate reports such as if i had a fall (fainted) or if my heart was racing or if i did a workout etc…
Being able to note these things can help find my triggers and what activities etc sit within my preventative window
Especially with hemiplegic migraines

You can synchronize Migraine Buddy with the Apple Health Kit. If your Apple watch information is in the Apple Health Kit, it will be sync with Migraine Buddy. Check Migraine Buddy apps settings to link the app with the Apple Health Kit ;)
